Mr James Bedford

After living with a thick contracture band and traumatic scar on my finger for 17 years, the result of surgery at age 4, I finally sought treatment with James at age 21. Over time, the scarring had worsened significantly and become a source of self-consciousness for me. The transformation has been remarkable. My finger now looks and functions normally, and for the first time I can fully straighten it. From start to finish, James demonstrated exceptional skill and professionalism, and I felt completely at ease throughout the entire process. Mr Bedford did an excellent job removing a cyst from my cheek. He left me with a very small, barely unnoticeable scar that has healed well! I am extremely pleased with the outcome of the procedure.

Mr Bedford was very professional, he explained everything very simply and made each consultation pleasant and was very reassuring, he performed carpal and cubital tunnel surgery on both of my hands/elbows, he has a lovely bedside manner and I would highly recommend.

Mr Bedford gained the trust of my 7 year old daughter, who has had previously challenging experiences with several doctors. Mr Bedford spoke to her directly and her little voice was heard and valued. All explanations of the procedure were clear but also appropriate in front my child. Because of the quality and friendliness of all staff, my daughter went willingly to the operating theatre and went to sleep without any drama. I cannot praise ALL the staff involved enough - from the catering staff to the anaesthetist, they all ensured my daughter was calm and happy. Mr Bedford and his team managed to get her in to hospital to have the granuloma removed from her face within a week. Thank you to all staff for the care they showed my daughter.
