Dr Irshad Ahmed is a highly accomplished Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who specialises in maternal medicine. With a deep commitment to providing exceptional care to expectant mothers, Dr Ahmed focuses on managing high-risk pregnancies and ensuring safe deliveries. He is particularly dedicated to supporting women through complex obstetric journeys, offering expert guidance and clinical support when it is needed most.

Throughout his career, Dr Ahmed has developed significant expertise in intrapartum care and high-dependency obstetric management. He serves as a clinical lead for labour ward high dependency care and elective caesarean sections, demonstrating his capability in handling acute and complex maternity cases. His clinical interests also encompass the prevention and management of postpartum haemorrhage, as well as the coordination of multidisciplinary care for mothers with pre-existing medical conditions.
