Dr Inderpal Singh

Dr Inderpal Singh is a Consultant Geriatrician and Consultant Physician who specialises in Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine. With a strong focus on promoting healthy ageing, bone health, and frailty management, Dr Singh delivers comprehensive medical care tailored to older adults. His practice encompasses the thorough evaluation and management of complex, multi-system health conditions in later life, ensuring that individual medical history, functional mobility, and overall quality of life are carefully addressed.

In his clinical practice, Dr Singh places particular emphasis on falls prevention, bone health assessments, and the targeted management of osteoporosis. He offers advanced treatment strategies, including bone-building anabolic therapies, treat-to-target regimens, and sequential medication plans designed to reduce the risk of fragility fractures. Additionally, Dr Singh conducts Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments to evaluate frailty, balance and confidence issues, cognitive memory concerns, and long-term medical conditions such as high blood pressure. He also provides perioperative medical evaluations to assist older patients in preparing for and recovering safely from surgical procedures.

Dr Singh earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Medical College, Amritsar, in 1997, followed by a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in General Medicine from Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana, in 2002. Continuing his specialist postgraduate development in the United Kingdom, he was awarded a Master of Science (MSc) in Ageing, Health and Disease from Cardiff University in 2012, alongside receiving his Certificate of Completion of Training in Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine in 2011. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) and holds Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK).
