Specialising in Paediatrics and Neonatology, she is deeply committed to supporting young patients from birth through their early developmental journeys. Dr Karla works closely with families to deliver tailored, evidence-based medical care, ensuring that parents feel reassured, informed, and involved in every aspect of their child's health and well-being.

In her clinical practice, Dr Karla manages a wide array of general paediatric conditions alongside complex neonatal requirements. Her expertise spans neonatal intensive care, the management of premature newborns, respiratory support, and acute paediatric care. She is highly skilled in conducting newborn physical examinations, monitoring child growth and development, and delivering advanced life support interventions. Dr Karla earned her Medical Doctor degree at Riga Stradiņš University before completing extensive postgraduate clinical training in Paediatrics and Neonatal Medicine.
