Dr Ida Forro

Dr Ida Forro is a dedicated Consultant Anaesthetist who provides high-quality anaesthetic care across a wide range of surgical disciplines. Her clinical practice focuses on delivering safe, tailored anaesthesia and perioperative care to support patients throughout their surgical journey. Dr Forro is particularly passionate about perioperative medicine, patient pre-assessment, and pre-operative health optimisation, ensuring that every individual is thoroughly prepared prior to undergoing surgery.

Dr Forro completed her initial medical degree at the Third Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague. Following her graduation, she completed specialist postgraduate training in anaesthesia and intensive care in the Czech Republic before expanding her clinical practice in the UK. To further enhance her specialist skills, she completed a post-qualification fellowship in Obstetric Anaesthesia. Demonstrating a strong commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development, she also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Perioperative Medicine from University College London.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Forro is actively engaged in medical leadership, clinical education, and practitioner instruction. Her broad scope of clinical interest includes administering anaesthesia for plastic and reconstructive procedures, aesthetic surgery, breast reconstruction, dental surgery, and ophthalmic surgery. She is also deeply committed to medical education, serving as an instructor in advanced trauma life support and mentoring healthcare colleagues to foster excellent clinical standards.
