Dr Ibtisam Salim is an accomplished Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Clinical Research Fellow dedicated to advancing maternal and foetal healthcare. With a clinical approach rooted in empathy and rigorous evidence-based practice, Dr Salim provides comprehensive care for women throughout all stages of pregnancy, childbirth, and reproductive life. Her clinical interests and sub-specialisations focus prominently on foetal medicine and late-pregnancy surveillance. Dr Salim possesses extensive expertise in third-trimester ultrasound imaging, foetal biometry assessment, and the detection of foetal abnormalities and growth restrictions. She maintains a particular clinical focus on the diagnosis and management of breech presentation, regularly performing external cephalic version (ECV) to safely reduce the need for surgical interventions.
