Dr Howard Faulkner

Dr Howard Faulkner is an experienced Consultant Neurologist who provides expert assessment and management across a wide range of neurological conditions. Dedicated to delivering patient-centred and reassuring care, Dr Faulkner focuses on diagnosing complex neurological symptoms and formulating tailored treatment plans. His clinical practice encompasses both general neurology services and specialised investigations for individuals experiencing seizures or other brain-related conditions.

Dr Faulkner earned his BSc, PhD, and MBBS degrees from Imperial College London, qualifying in 2002. Following his undergraduate and doctoral studies, he undertook higher specialist medical and general neurology training. To gain advanced training in complex seizure management, he subsequently completed an Epilepsy and EEG Fellowship in Sydney, Australia, before taking up a post as a Consultant Neurologist with a dedicated interest in epilepsy and epilepsy surgery workups.

In his clinical practice, Dr Faulkner offers comprehensive care ranging from initial first seizure consultations to detailed pre-surgical assessments. His technical expertise includes electroencephalography (EEG) and intracranial EEG recordings to evaluate brain activity. Working closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams, Dr Faulkner utilises diagnostic techniques and advanced neuroimaging to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient outcomes.
