Dr Helen Moore

Dr Helen Moore is an experienced Consultant Paediatrician committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to infants, children, and young people. Serving as a Clinical Lead and Consultant Clinical Educator, Dr Moore plays a central role in maintaining high clinical standards and delivering patient-centred care across both acute and routine paediatric settings. Her practice focuses on supporting young patients and their families through every stage of their healthcare journey, ensuring clear communication, empathetic support, and evidence-based clinical management.

In her clinical work, Dr Moore provides expertise across General Paediatrics and Acute Paediatrics, as well as level 2 neonatal care. Her clinical interests include the assessment and management of paediatric tic disorders and involuntary movement conditions, acute paediatric emergencies, and childhood respiratory conditions such as asthma. In addition to direct patient care, Dr Moore is dedicated to simulation-based medical education and human factors training, utilising simulated scenarios to enhance patient safety, clinical team communication, and the management of rare paediatric emergencies.

Dr Moore earned her medical degree, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). She subsequently attained Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). Dedicated to advancing medical training and professional development, Dr Moore actively leads education initiatives for multidisciplinary healthcare teams, helping to ensure that clinical personnel remain skilled in the latest paediatric and neonatal protocols.
