Dr Harshini Katugampola

Dr Harshini Katugampola is a distinguished Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist who is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to infants, children, and young people. Specialising in paediatric endocrine and metabolic disorders, she adopts a patient-centred approach that prioritises the physical and emotional well-being of her young patients and their families. Her clinical practice focuses on diagnosing and managing complex hormonal imbalances, ensuring that every child receives personalised, evidence-based care tailored to their individual needs.

Dr Katugampola holds an extensive academic background, having completed her undergraduate medical degree, earning a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), as well as a Bachelor of Science (BSc), a Master of Science (MSc), and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). She is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). In addition to her clinical commitments, she serves as an Honorary Associate Professor at the University College London Institute of Child Health, where she plays a leading role in medical education, curriculum design, and paediatric research.

Her primary areas of clinical focus encompass neonatal endocrinology, paediatric diabetes, and metabolic medicine.
