We are incredibly grateful for the care our baby received from Dr Gautam Kulkarni. From the very first appointment, he took the time to listen carefully and understand what was going on. He diagnosed our baby’s cow’s milk allergy quickly and clearly explained the underlying causes in a way that was easy for us to understand as a first-time parents. What stood out the most was how thoughtful and thorough he was in creating a practical strategy to manage the allergy going forward. He made sure we felt confident about the next steps and answered all of our questions with patience. Beyond his medical expertise, he is a genuinely kind and empathetic doctor. He treats both babies and parents with warmth and respect, which made a stressful situation feel much more manageable for us. He also has a wonderful sense of humour, which brought lightness and positivity to our appointments and helped put us at ease during what could have been an anxious time. We always feel that our baby was in very safe hands. We would wholeheartedly recommend him to any parents looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive paediatrician. My daughter has been seeing Dr Kulkarni for about four years now. She has a lot of complex medical needs that were dismissed by the NHS. Dr Kulkarni stepped in as her main pediatrician. Over the last few years he has always believed her, fought for her, and helped us get answers that we might not have received otherwise. He has overseen her treatment regardless of which specialist she also needed to see. He has taken the time to get to know her as a person as well. My daughter is about to sit her A levels and head off to university in September. Something that we did not think she would be able to do. I can honestly say that without Dr Kulkarni, it wouldn't be happening.

Dr Kulkarni is an amazing doctor , very professional and knowledgeable. He takes time to listen and explain your treatment and goes that extra mile to find a long term solution. I took my 14 year old daughter to see him and he made her feel comfortable and actually spoke to her like a young adult instead of just talking to mum . As a very concerned mum I cannot thank Dr Kulkarni enough for helping my daughter . Would highly recommend !!!!

Mr Kulkarni has been looking after my daughter a couple of years now and recently since she experienced sudden changes to her spine at the age of 12. His professionalism, care, and kindness have been exceptional throughout. My daughter’s preparation for spinal surgery has been handled with such sensitivity and reassurance, which has made an incredibly difficult time much easier for both her and our family. We are truly grateful for the support and expertise he has shown every step of the way.

We have been visiting Dr Kulkarni since our older one was born, everytime we need specialist advice. He always makes time for us, listens to our concerns and provides guidance, explaining everything in the process.

Doctor Kulkarni has treated our son & daughter and we have found him to be an excellent Doctor! He is professional, extremely knowledgeable, kind and friendly. He is a Doctor who goes the extra mile to ensure his patients well-being. Despite his busy schedule, he has always made time to see our daughter, especially on days when her health issues were more difficult to cope with. We trust him and know that we can fully rely on him and his accuracy with a diagnosis and treatment. He is great with kids, he is patient, a very good listener and genuinely cares about his patients and wants to help. He remembers details of the kids medical backgrounds and potential interactions between these and any new problems. He is never dismissive of our concerns as parents and always helps by explaining what is, or what may be happening. He is very thorough all round and his communication is exceptional. He responds promptly to any follow up concerns (even when he’s out of the country, when possible) which has been a huge blessing for us. He never goes AWOL on his patients. He always welcomes them! I would honestly look no further, if you want a Paediatrician who has a passion for what he does, the bedside manner to match, and the expertise to do it! He has been a lifeline to us during a distressing time with our daughter’s ill health. His support and guidance made all the difference for her continual recovery and we (including my daughter’s own words) don’t know what we would have done without him. Dr Kulkarni has been treating my daughter for over a year. He is calm and thorough in his approach and takes time to ensure my daughter understands his assessment and next steps. He takes time to follow up on her progress between appointments. He is good at coordinating complex cases involving multiple different specialists and it is reassuring to have him bring everything together to ensure a holistic approach. Supported by a lovely nursing team. Highly recommend.

My daughter is now 15 and has been under the ongoing care of Dr Kulkarni since the age of 9, when she was diagnosed with coeliac disease. We have found Dr Kulkarni to be extremely helpful and kind in supporting us to navigate and manage her autoimmune illness, along with its associated physical and psychological symptoms. His wealth of knowledge is evident, and his systematic approach has enabled her to understand and manage her condition effectively, so that her symptoms do not hold her back from doing the things she wants to do.
