Mrs Giulia Benedetti

Dr Giulia Benedetti is a cardiothoracic consultant radiologist. She is a specialist in multimodality cardiovascular and thoracic imaging.

She graduated in radiology at San Raffaele University Hospital in Milan. During her training, she developed a great interest forcardiac computed tomography (Cardiac CT) developing her expertise in CT for structural heart disease and chest pain and  cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) . She is also passionate about thoracic imaging for various lung pathology, with a particular interest in lung cancer. In 2016 she completed a cardiac imaging clinical and research fellowship at the largest cardiac centre in Europe, Barts Heart Centre, London. Afterwards she started working as a consultant cardiothoracic Radiologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in London.
