Dr. Badawi a complété ses études à Montréal (Canada). Elle est titulaire d’un Doctorat en Psychologie Clinique, d’un diplôme d’études supérieures en Psychologie Clinique, d’une Maîtrise en Psychiatrie et d’une License en Sciences en Psychologie avec une spécialisation en neurosciences comportementales.
Dr. Badawi intervient auprès d’adultes présentant diverses difficultés émotionnelles et interpersonnelles, incluant la dérégulation émotionnelle, le trouble de la personnalité Borderline, les troubles d'anxiété et de l'humeur, les traumatismes, les troubles de l'alimentation et les difficultés psychologiques résultant d'un traumatisme crânien. Elle a de l'expérience en hôpital public et en cabinet privé auprès d'une population internationale et diversifiée.
Son approche en psychothérapie est intégrative s'appuyant sur la thérapie comportementale dialectique (TCD), la thérapie d'acceptation et d'engagement (ACT), la thérapie basée sur la mentalisation (MBT) et la Thérapie Cognitive et Comportementale (TCC). Dr. Badawi adapte la psychothérapie aux besoins de chaque individu dans le but de promouvoir le développement de stratégies adaptatives, d'améliorer le bien-être général et la qualité de vie de l'individu ainsi que ses relations interpersonnelles. Dr. Badawi a apporté d'importantes contributions au domaine de la psychologie, à travers sa recherche, des publications dans des revues scientifiques et sa pratique clinique
