Dr Gavin Chu is an accomplished Consultant Cardiologist and Consultant Electrophysiologist who provides high-quality clinical care for individuals experiencing a broad spectrum of cardiovascular and heart rhythm conditions. Dr Chu earned his medical degree from the University of Cambridge, qualifying in 2005. He subsequently completed specialist higher cardiology training across the East of England and the East Midlands. Furthering his expertise in clinical arrhythmia research, Dr Chu completed a PhD at the University of Leicester, where he focused on pioneering bioengineering and translational studies in cardiac mapping for persistent atrial fibrillation. He is accredited by the European Heart Rhythm Association.
