About Dr Sanjoy Chowdhury

Dr Sanjoy Chowdhury is an internationally certified Consultant Cardiologist and Cardiac Electrophysiologist (Heart Rhythm Specialist) practicing in the North-West of England. He completed his clinical cardiology training in the North-West UK, award-winning doctoral research (PhD) at the University of Manchester and a prestigious clinical electrophysiology fellowship in Ontario, Canada.

Dr Chowdhury holds internationally recognised certifications in cardiac electrophysiology and complex device therapy, including European Heart Rhythm Association certification in Electrophysiology (ECES) and Heart Rhythm Society USA (IBHRE) certification in Electrophysiology (CEPS-A) and Cardiac Devices (CCDS). He is currently working as a Consultant Cardiologist & Electrophysiologist at the Lancashire Cardiac Centre (Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust), also serveing as the Cardiology Research Lead, actively contributing to clinical trials and pioneering advancements in heart rhythm management.
