The whole team were very professional and the whole process was seamless
Dr.Gall has been first class from day one. Very professional and extremely helpful throughout.
Was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and recommended to see Dr Gall by a friend. He was so nice, spending time to explain what my condition was and how it could affect my lifestyle etc. He perfomed Cardiac ablation on me some 8 months ago and I've never looked back. Thank you so much for your kind and expert attention.
My first experience of private healthcare and the biggest factor of change was the time taken to explain and answer any queries and the speed in getting results and answers. But not just of Dr Gall, all the staff and all the process was first class.
I contacted Dr Gall for his opinion on the way forward for me as I had had a difficult few months following a diagnosis of atrial fibrillation (AF) and Atrial flutter in September 2024. Before I referred myself to Dr Gall I had had treatment by the NHS cardiac services with a Cardioversion which lasted 9 days, then with a number of drugs such as beta blockers, digoxin and eventually Amiodorone (which did eventually bring the AF under control). However I became increasingly unwell from the toxicity of the Amiodorone , losing 2 stone in weight and unable to go out walking on my own as BP dropping to very low levels. I was to be referred for an ablation on the NHS however I was told this could be up to an 18 month wait and at the very minimum possibly 12 months. I also have been living with Parkinson’s Disease for the last 10 years and the effect of the drugs on my Parkinson’s symptoms was horrendous. I was at an extremely low point when I first saw Dr Gall with my husband. However as soon as we were greeted by Dr Gall we started to feel a glimmer of hope. He had obviously read all my medical notes in advance of this initial visit and he was very thorough in his questioning of how the AF affected me on a day to day basis. He explained everything clearly and checked our understanding of the information he gave us and did not pressurise us to make a decision there and then about going ahead with an ablation. He treated us with true empathy and compassion whilst also being careful not to raise our expectations unrealistically as he could not 100% guarantee it’s success. We had ...
Read moreI attended Spire Manchester in October last year for pulse field ablation. Dr Gall was my consultant. I was grateful for the in depth discussion we had in the first appointment and for him building my confidence and trust in his abilities and the procedure. The operation was a success and I have subsequently recommended both Spire and Mr Gall to others.
The whole process from consultations to surgery to aftercare was excellent. I felt throughout that I was in safe hands with Dr Gall. .
Very clear about the problem, and efficient in rectifying it.
I just want to put on record what an absolute gentleman Dr Gall is. His natural ability to be so genuinely empathetic to me on my initial consultation, made me feel comfortable instantly that I had chosen the right consultant to help me with my problem and subsequent surgery . There was nothing that I didn’t understand along the way as he took as much time as was needed to put my mind at ease with everything that was ahead. On the day of the procedure Dr Gall had had an exceptionally busy day and I was the last on his list but he still spent a lot of time reflecting on the surgery even after a busy clinic. He explained the findings fully with no rush to get away despite it being 9pm by then. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Gall and have already recommend him to anyone who asked as he is clearly the leading consultant for a reason.
