Dr Gareth Morgan

Dr Gareth Morgan is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant Immunologist who specialises in general paediatric healthcare and complex immunological disorders. He provides expert assessment and compassionate management for infants, children, and young people presenting with a wide range of medical conditions, with particular focus on immunodeficiencies, allergic diseases, and recurrent or severe infections. Dr Morgan is committed to delivering objective, patient-centred care that offers clear answers and reassuring guidance to families navigating challenging health conditions.

Dr Morgan completed his undergraduate medical education at the University of Manchester, qualifying with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) in 1977. He subsequently undertook specialist postgraduate training in paediatrics and immunology, obtaining his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 1980 and completing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) research degree in 1988. He holds Fellowships with the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH), and the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath), reflecting his advanced expertise across clinical paediatrics, immunology, and laboratory diagnostics.

Throughout his career in clinical practice and research, Dr Morgan has maintained a strong focus on the diagnosis and long-term management of childhood immune conditions. His clinical work encompasses the evaluation of complex allergic presentations, including asthma, food allergies, eczema, and allergic rhinitis, alongside the treatment of autoimmune conditions and post-infectious immune dysregulation. Dr Morgan utilises tailored diagnostic approaches and modern therapeutic strategies, including immune-modulation, biological therapies, immunosuppression, and immunoglobulin infusions, ensuring that each child receives an individualised, evidence-based care plan.
