Dr Fahd Mahmood

Dr Fahd Mahmood is an established Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in advanced hip and knee surgical procedures. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Mahmood provides comprehensive care for individuals suffering from joint conditions, helping to restore mobility and enhance overall quality of life. His clinical practice incorporates modern surgical techniques, including robotic-assisted joint procedures, to ensure high precision and support optimal patient recovery.

Dr Mahmood completed his undergraduate medical studies at the University of Oxford, qualifying in 2009. He subsequently completed higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics. Dedicated to academic advancement, he earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Engineering with research into knee meniscus biomechanics, alongside Master's degrees in both Clinical Education and Public Health. He achieved his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma and Orthopaedics, FRCS (Tr & Orth), and serves as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer.
