Mr. Martin Davison is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in hip and knee replacement surgery, as well as knee arthroscopy. He graduated with distinction from the University of Glasgow Medical School and further enhanced his expertise through the prestigious 'Advanced Hip Fellowship' in Bristol. In addition to his medical degree, he holds a BSc MedSci in Musculoskeletal Science from the University of Glasgow, further reflecting his dedication to his field.
Mr. Davison is the vice chair of the Scottish Hip Fracture Audit steering group and serves as the hip fracture and trauma lead in NHS Lanarkshire. My recent visit was most satisfactory. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction and my overall experience was excellent.
I attended my appointment, after having my second hip replaced by Mr Davison. Both hips were done within six months. Throughout the whole process, I found Mr Davison to be excellent in every way. He is obviously a skilful surgeon but he also has great people skills. From start to finish, I had every confidence in him. My surgeries have been life changing.
Mr Davison was so kind, caring and professional. He put me at ease and took care to make sure I totally understood all aspects of my surgery. Importantly he listened to what mattered to me in my life and addressed all of my questions and concerns fully. I am completely happy to recommend him and I am pleased with the outcome of my surgery and after care.
Each visit or conversation with Mr Davidson has been concise clear and professional . His advice and support has been genuine and helpful.
Over the years I’ve had numerous operations some emergencies and others elective. Martin is a superb surgeon with a warm informative nature and great skill in the operating arena.
Overall my experience with Mr Davison was excellent. He took the time to explain my whole procedure in detail and put me at ease throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering a total hip replacement.
Mr Davison was very pleasant and explained every detail of the surgical procedure very clearly. His communication ability was first class and made me feel very confident on the outcome of the surgery.
