Mr Evangelos Minos

Mr Evangelos Minos is a well experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist based in Peterborough with over 15 years of experience. He currently serves in the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust at Peterborough City Hospital.

Mr Minos completed his medical degree at the University of Crete, Greece in 2003 followed by his ophthalmology residency training in Greece at the Eye Hospital of Athens and the University Hospital of Heraklion. He later completed a fellowship in refractive surgery at the Institute of Vision and Optics in Greece before relocating to the UK to complete his Postgraduate Diploma in Cataract and Refractive Surgery at Ulster University. Mr Minos became a Fellow of the European Board for Ophthalmology in 2015.

In his current clinical practice, Mr Minos offers treatments for age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion and inherited retina conditions. He also has expertise in cataract surgery, refractive surgery, uveitis, LASIK and oculoplastics. Mr. Minos has undertaken over 17,500 laser treatments so far in his career, making him exceptionally experienced in his field.

Alongside his clinical work, Mr Minos is a College Tutor in Ophthalmology and a Regional Educational Advisor for the East of England at the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.
