Mr Saqlain Siddiq

Mr Saqlain Sadiq is a Consultant Ophthalmologist specialising in cataract and refractive surgery, with over a decade of clinical and surgical experience across the UK and Pakistan.

He graduated from Army Medical College Rawalpindi (NUST) and pursued further ophthalmic training through the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in London, as well as the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. He completed advanced specialist training at the internationally renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital, one of the UK’s leading centres for ophthalmic care.

Mr Sadiq has developed expertise in cataract surgery, refractive lens procedures, and laser vision correction, and is recognised for his contribution to modern refractive surgical techniques.

Alongside his clinical work, he is involved in medical education as faculty with the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, where he contributes to corneal workshops and examiner roles for medical students, including assessments through Queen Mary University of London.

He has also contributed to global eye health initiatives, working with charitable organisations such as Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust, providing large-scale free ophthalmic care to underserved populations.
