Dr Eva Bunting

Dr Eva Bunting is a highly dedicated Consultant Neurologist who specialises in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of complex neurological conditions. With a particular clinical focus on movement disorders, she is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Bunting works closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patients navigating the challenges of chronic neurological illnesses, utilising innovative and holistic approaches to enhance their recovery and overall quality of life.

Her clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of neurological disorders, with a special interest in Parkinson's disease and its associated complications, such as sleep disturbances and cognitive changes. Dr Bunting is actively involved in implementing advanced therapies, including subcutaneous infusion treatments for Parkinson's disease, and exploring complementary interventions like music therapy to aid rehabilitation. Her reassuring and evidence-based approach ensures that each patient receives a tailored treatment plan designed to optimise their physical and emotional well-being.

Dr Bunting obtained her primary medical qualification, the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), from the University of Sheffield in 2009. She also holds a Master of Research (MRes) and is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in Neurology. Following her general medical training, she completed her specialist neurology training in the Southeast of England, which included advanced training at prestigious neurological centres in London. She subsequently completed a prestigious fellowship in movement disorders with the Association of British Neurologists. Dr Bunting is an active member of several professional bodies and serves as a Regional Clinical Lead for Parkinson's UK.
