Dr Esther Corker

Dr Esther Corker is an accomplished Consultant Community Paediatrician, Head of Service, and Neurodevelopmental Lead dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare for children, young people, and their families. Specialising in child development and community health, Dr Corker works collaboratively alongside multidisciplinary clinical teams, educational specialists, and social care partners to offer holistic care. Her objective, reassuring, and child-centred approach ensures that young patients and their families feel supported throughout every stage of assessment and management.

In her clinical practice, Dr Corker possesses extensive expertise in assessing and managing complex neurodevelopmental conditions, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum conditions, and neurodisabilities. She also focuses on safeguarding, child protection, Down's syndrome management, and the dedicated health needs of children in care. Through thorough diagnostic evaluations and individualised treatment strategies, Dr Corker aims to support developmental progress, optimise health outcomes, and enhance overall quality of life.

Dr Corker earned her primary medical degree (MBBS) before completing comprehensive postgraduate specialist training in Paediatrics. She maintains full registration with the General Medical Council and is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH). Further demonstrating her commitment to clinical excellence and medical education, Dr Corker has served on the RCPCH Child Protection Standing Committee and held the position of RCPCH Assistant Officer for Child Protection (Education).
