Dr Emma Webb

Dr Emma Webb is a Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Endocrinologist who provides comprehensive, compassionate care for infants, children, and young people. Focusing on general paediatric care alongside complex endocrine and metabolic conditions, she delivers thorough clinical evaluations and individualised management plans to support optimal growth and development. Her practice combines advanced evidence-based medicine with an empathetic, family-centred approach, ensuring young patients and their families feel supported throughout every step of their clinical journey.

Dr Webb completed her undergraduate medical education at King's College London, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2002 alongside a Bachelor of Science in Endocrinology. She earned her Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2005 and completed her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2013. Dr Webb maintains active professional membership with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.

In her clinical work, Dr Webb treats a wide range of general paediatric conditions with sub-speciality expertise in paediatric endocrinology and diabetes. Her primary clinical interests include childhood obesity, complications of excess weight, metabolic bone disorders, hypopituitarism, growth hormone deficiency, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, achondroplasia, and disorders of sex development. She is particularly focused on multi-disciplinary care models, utilising structured dietary guidance and digital health strategies to improve health outcomes in children and young people.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Webb holds academic appointments as a Senior Lecturer and Clinical Associate Professor, actively contributing to medical education and clinical research. She leads translational studies investigating gut microbiome interactions, paediatric bone biomarkers, and childhood metabolic dysfunction, aiming to translate cutting-edge scientific insights directly into enhanced patient care.
