Dr. Emma Casely

Dr Emma Casely is a Consultant Anaesthetist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, having been appointed in 2022. She also works privately at The King Edward VII, The Lister, and The Portland Hospitals in London. Dr Casely qualified as a doctor at the University of Nottingham and completed her postgraduate training in Oxford and London. She holds a Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, a Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In addition, she completed a fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital, enabling her to dual specialise in both adult and paediatric anaesthesia.

Dr Casely has a particular interest in managing peri-operative anxiety and has completed numerous prize-winning projects focused on enhancing patient experience and safety. As the lead for clinical fellows in anaesthesia at Chelsea and Westminster, she is deeply committed to providing the highest possible standards of patient care.
