Mr Edafeaghor Gharoro

Mr Edafeaghor Gharoro is a Consultant Gynaecologist based in Cambridgeshire, providing comprehensive care across general and specialist gynaecology. His clinical practice includes the assessment, diagnosis and management of a wide range of benign gynaecological conditions.

He manages common presentations such as abnormal uterine bleeding and menstrual disorders, vulvovaginal conditions, pelvic pain, and menopause-related symptoms, including provision of hormone replacement therapy (HRT). He also offers contraception counselling and gynaecological ultrasound scanning, including transvaginal and pelvic imaging.

Mr Gharoro has extensive experience in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery. His practice includes laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis, ovarian cystectomy, adhesiolysis, and management of pelvic masses and chronic pelvic pain.

In addition, he performs open surgical procedures for benign uterine conditions, including abdominal hysterectomy and myomectomy for fibroids, as well as total and subtotal hysterectomy where indicated.

He is accredited in colposcopy and provides assessment and treatment for abnormal cervical screening results, including procedures such as LLETZ, cervical biopsy, and structured follow-up care.

His practice also includes hysteroscopic procedures, both outpatient and operative, for the management of intrauterine conditions such as polyps, submucous fibroids and abnormal bleeding.
