About Dr Abdullah Mohammed
Dr. Abdullah Mohammed is a Consultant Cardiologist who completed his medical qualification at the University of Glasgow. During training, he undertook more focused subspecialty training in echocardiography and cardiac imaging. He completed the Mersey Deanery Training Programme in Cardiology and General Medicine.
Throughout his career, Dr. Mohammed has gained wide experience in medicine and cardiology whilst working at some of the UK's largest teaching hospitals and cardiology institutions in Glasgow, Staffordshire, Manchester, Liverpool, and Sheffield.
He has extensive experience with cardiac conditions such as angina, heart failure, valve heart disease, and atrial fibrillation. He is also experienced in cardiac risk assessment prior to non-cardiac surgery, and ‘Healthy Heart' checks up for cardiovascular disease screening and primary prevention advice.
In addition to general cardiology, he is particularly proactive in invasive cardiology, alongside his special interest in advanced cardiac imaging techniques and their role in selecting the most appropriate and evidence-based medical or surgical treatment.

I visited Dr Mohammed yesterday at the St Helen’s hospital. My appointment was on time and I was greeted by a smiling face. I had a few problems and soon got them sorted and I was reassured about my heart conditions. He explained what was happening and what I should do and I came out feeling a different person. Very relieve and happy. My visit was well worthwhile and Dr Mohammed is such a helpful and supportive person. I would recommend him to anyone who has heart problems. Highly recommend Dr Mohammed who organised an indepth set of tests to identify the issues I was experiencing. Once the tests were completed Dr Mohammed explained in detail the results and likely treatment I would need to take to return to 100% fitness. All this was done in a reassuring manner which put myself and my wife's mind at ease.

Dr Abdullah Mohammed had. A great deal of flexibility in appointments. He listened to me and captured everything in my initial consultations and reassured me of the results of the monitor, ECG and Echo. He also offered guidance and a follow up call as to how I am getting on in a few weeks which was comforting.
