Dr Bowling is a Consultant Gastroenterologist based in Nottingham. He provides a comprehensive service for medical gastroenterology- except liver disease. He performs diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy and has a special interest in treating those suffering from malnutrition. He runs an NHS regional referral unit for complex nutritional/intestinal failure (medical and surgical) at the Nottingham University Hospitals, treating NHS and private patients with complex needs. Dr Bowling is currently the national Chairman of BAPEN and a respected authority in clinical nutrition.
