Dr Frank Phillips

Dr Phillips understood how anxious I was about having an endoscopy. He explained the procedure thoroughly to me. He was very reassuring. It helped so much and it was no where near as bad as I had expected. He talked to myself and my husband after the procedure and answered all of my questions and gave valuable advice. I would highly recommend him if you need to see a gastroenterologist. Thank you.

I chose to see Dr Phillips after my GP advised that I have a gastroscopy, a procedure which I absolutely dreaded. Dr Phillips' experience in undertaking many hundreds of endoscopies and the positive reviews of his sympathetic manner were reassuring. At the consultation Dr Phillips was patient, sympathetic, informative and reassuring (not always my experience of all consultants)as indeed he was when he saw me on the day of my procedure and with the aid of sedation I found the procedure quite tolerable.

Initial consult with Dr Phillips was great. Very clear on how he viewed FIT results and what likely issue is. During the follow up diagnostic procedure (colonoscopy), his explanation on what was going to happen, how long etc was very clear and reassuring. The procedure itself went smoothly and no issues.

Very positive, staff are extremely friendly and reassuring. I felt completely at ease throughout my procedure.

I cannot recommend Dr Phillips highly enough. Navigating an ongoing gastrointestinal issue is daunting, but Dr Phillips provided a perfect balance of high professionalism and genuine empathy. Dr Phillips and his team were absolutley brilliant dealing with my coloscopy on the 17/09/26.
