I have been a consultant endocrinologist for more than 10 years treating endocrine (hormone related) conditions, diabetes. I specialize in weight loss service as a metabolic physician.

I was awarded my medical degree (MBBS) in 1999, MRCP in 2005, FRCP in 2016, and MD (Res) degree in Diabetes and Metabolism from Queen Mary University of London in 2018 on completion of my MD thesis after 3 years as a research fellowship at Clinical Trial Service Unit, Oxford University. I completed specialist training in Diabetes and Endocrinology from Oxford Deanery in 2013 and was appointed as a Consultant Endocrinologist at the Royal Berkshire Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

I am leading bariatric MDT clinics and a weight loss care pathway/service. I do various specialized endocrine clinics including the radio-iodine treatment for benign thyroid disease, and diabetes renal clinic. I diagnose and treat patients with all endocrine diseases, diabetes, and metabolic obesity including Thyroid, PCOS, parathyroid, adrenal glands, and pituitary disorders, medical and surgical weight loss management, including pre and post-bariatric surgery medical care.

I joined the Department of Diabetes and Endocrinology at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in 2014 to lead and shape the new services, including the weight loss and bariatric services, and the integrated diabetes and endocrinology services. I am leading bariatric MDT clinics and weight loss bariatric care pathway, the VLCD weight loss project, various endocrine clinics including the virtual thyroid clinics and the radio-iodine treatment for benign thyroid disease.
