Dr Tara Barton

Dr Tara Barton is a Consultant Radiologist at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. Graduating in medicine from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 1998, she also earned an intercalated degree in Clinical Pharmacology in 1997. She completed her general medical training in Cardiff, gaining Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2001.

She underwent specialist clinical radiology training in Cardiff, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2007. Dr Barton served as a Consultant Radiologist at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust from 2008 to 2016, before being appointed to her consultant post at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust in 2016. She is a general radiologist with dedicated subspecialty interests in gastrointestinal (GI) and chest (thoracic) imaging.
