Dr Stephanie Ogden

 Dr Stephanie Ogden is a Consultant Dermatologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer. She qualified in 2001 with honours and distinctions and was awarded a number of university prizes, including the dermatology prize, as an undergraduate. She trained in dermatology in Manchester and was awarded a competitive Medical Research Training
fellowship to study the effects of ageing on the skin immune system and completed
a PhD in 2013.  

She achieved her Certificate of Specialist Training in dermatology in 2012 and has been working as a Dermatology Consultant in Greater Manchester since. She has served as a clinical lead and skin cancer multidisciplinary team lead for 10 years during which time her team was awarded a hospital trust improving patient safety award. She has been the Greater Manchester Skin Cancer Clinical Lead since 2021. Her
clinical interests include skin cancer, general dermatology and vulval dermatology. She was a council member of the British Society for the Study of Vulval Disease for 6 years and is involved in research into vulval skin conditions. 

Dr Ogden acts as a peer reviewer for dermatology journals and has also been a reviewer for research study grant applications. She has co-authored chapters for textbooks and original articles in the dermatological literature. She provides teaching to colleagues in primary and secondary care and medical students.
