Dr Stefan Studnik

Dr Stefan Studnik is a Consultant Paediatrician specialising in Neurodevelopment and Neurodisability. He offers a first-class service with HCA Healthcare at The Portland Hospital, Cromwell Hoispital and an NHS role at Imperial College NHS Healthcare Trust where he is the CDS Lead for Autism Services. Additionally, he developed a specialist multidisciplinary team to screen for early detection of autism, enabling prompt treatment and support for children and their families. He has a wide range of experience in assessing children with social communication differences and developmental issues including autism, ADHD, behavioural problems and learning disabilities. He works alongside other professionals such as SLT, Clinical Psychology, psychiatry and education services to provide a child-centred approach to treatment.

Most young people of primary school age and below are seen in a paediatric developmental screening assessment before undergoing further specialist multidiciplinary assessment

 The paediatric developmental screening assessment looks at children’s
learning potential  and screens for several issues including ASD,ADHD,
learning issues or dyspraxia. Clients need further appointments to confirm a
full ASD diagnois(specialist assessment).

 Dr Studnik was appointed as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer and facilitates teaching and examination for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
