Dr Simon Rang

Dr. Simon Rang is a Consultant Anaesthetist with a focus on perioperative medicine. He currently holds a position at Spencer Private Hospital Margate and East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust, where he provides anaesthetic care and expertise to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.

Dr. Rang is a highly qualified medical professional, having completed his medical degree (MB BS) from the University of London in 1997. In addition to his medical degree, he also holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Physiological Sciences from the University of Oxford. 

He obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) from the Royal College of Anaesthetists, England in 2004. This prestigious qualification is a testament to his advanced training and specialisation in anaesthesia.

Dr. Rang's research interests are focused on perioperative medicine, which involves optimising patient care before, during, and after surgery to achieve better outcomes. His research areas include risk assessments for major surgery and the management of perioperative anaemia.
