Dr Sanjay Saraf

Dr Sanjay Saraf is a Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology, who has worked in the National Health Service (NHS) since January 2011. During this period he has been exposed to a variety of hospital settings and roles. He has been in his present post at Good Hope Hospital in Birmingham since November 2015.

His specialist areas of interest are Type 1 and 2 diabetes, insulin pump therapy, diabetic foot, complex diabetes, lipid disorders, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, hypogonadism, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and osteoporosis. He is also actively involved in both postgraduate and undergraduate medical education.

Dr Saraf endeavours to provide the best possible care to his patients based on current best evidence, and his communication strategy is based on total honesty.
