Dr Andrew Toogood

Dr. Andrew Toogood is an experienced Consultant Endocrinologist based at The Priory Hospital in Birmingham. He has extensive expertise in treating a wide range of hormone-related conditions, including pituitary disorders, thyroid disease, adrenal diseases, testicular and ovarian disorders.  He also has a particular interest in the long term consequences of cancer treatment, particularly the impact of radiation on the pituitary gland and the effects of immunotherapy on the hormone system..

Dr. Toogood qualified from the University of Manchester and holds several prestigious credentials, including FRCP and MRCP, along with an MD from Manchester. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and is actively involved in medical education, sitting on the examination board for the Specialty Certificate Exam in Endocrinology and Diabetes. Dr Toogood undertook a postdoctorate fellowship in the Department of Endocrinology at the University of Virginia..

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Toogood has also contributed to national initiatives and is a member of the Clinical Committee of the Society for Endocrinology.  His compassionate and comprehensive approach ensures tailored care for each patient’s endocrine needs.
