Dr Peter Webster

Dr Peter Webster is a highly experienced consultant psychiatrist with expertise in eating disorders and general psychiatry. He currently works at the Priory Wellbeing Centre Oxford, Priory Arthur House and Priory Hospital Chelmsford, where he has been providing care to patients for 15 years.

Dr Webster's educational background includes studying Medicine and Theology at the University of Cambridge, followed by completing his medical studies at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. He then went on to specialize in Psychiatry at the Maudsley Hospital and Institute of Psychiatry, where he was a Consultant Psychiatrist in Eating Disorders at the National Eating Disorder Service. Later, he established the Eating Disorders Unit at The Priory Hospital Chelmsford.

Throughout his career, Dr Webster has been an active researcher with a particular interest in drug modulation in functional magnetic resonance imaging. He has published several papers on eating disorders, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
