Throughout all my meetings with Dr Ugoh I have felt his compassion and high level of knowledge within each and every meeting. We met recently online to review my current mental health.

Dr Ugoh has been incredible, since starting treatment my anxiety has been reduced and finally been able to get back to myself.

It was with some trepidation that I finally, in my fifties, decided it was time to address my mental health issues, I googled to find a psychiatrist who specialises in the fields that I thought would most benefit my needs, and happened upon Doctor Ugoh at the Priory clinic, after a little research and reading several reviews, I made up my mind to make the call, the call that would result in myself becoming the person that I would have thought inconceivable a year ago. My first point of contact was Sarah, doctor's secretary, who was very reassuring, patient, and above all, caring, I often think that had it not been for Sarah herself on the end of the phone that day, I may never have gone through with any of it, after all, seeing a psychiatrist, was not really the done thing in the era in which I grew up. The appointment was made, a bundle of anxiety presented himself to Doctor U, any feelings of anxiety and trepidation were short lived, I'm not sure what I had imagined a psychiatrist to be like, the reality turned out to be anything other than I'd expected. Doctor Ugoh's bedside manner, isn't really what I'd call a bedside manner at all, I felt as though I was talking to a friend, his attention to detail is second to none, he misses nothing, during the sessions his focus is unwavering, and above all, I believe he genuinely cares about his patients, and their wellbeing, which sadly seems to be in short supply these days. When it came to medication, I was treated as an adult, and allowed to make suggestions, and try to find what works best for me (within reason of course)...

Edwin is an incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate person who has worked with myself for several years now. His level of support is great and would happily recommend him.

From my first meeting of Dr Edwin Ugoh he put me at ease and I was happy to have met a Dr who listens.
