I was so pleased with my recent appointment with Dr Sarkhel. Not only did we discuss medication, but he also spent a lot of time with me looking at and discussing the psychological aspects of my condition, which gave me great insight into what I am struggling with and how best to tackle it with both medication and psychological work. He discussed it with me in great detail and in a way that I could understand which I am so grateful for. He made me feel listened to and it felt like a team approach to tackle my struggles together. I would highly recommend Dr Sarkhel and the team at Living Mind.

I always feel genuinely listened to, never rushed and everything is explained clearly so I understand what we’re doing and why. I came into this feeling quite anxious about medication but my concerns have been handled with real patience and care.

Dr Sarkhel has been incredibly supportive throughout my ADHD diagnosis and treatment, which I was initially nervous to begin as it was all so new to me. However, the doctor reassured me and he clearly explained the ‘why’ behind every step of the process. A year on I am now much more confident and better able to understand my own diagnosis.

Thank you so much for your incredibly kind and thoughtful words. I am truly grateful that you took the time to share your experience. Beginning an ADHD assessment and treatment journey can understandably feel daunting, especially when everything is new and uncertain. I’m very pleased to hear that the explanations and reassurance helped you feel more comfortable and informed throughout the process. Your progress over the past year is a testament not just to the treatment plan, but to your own commitment, openness, and resilience. ADHD management is always a collaborative process, and the confidence and self-understanding you’ve developed reflect the effort you’ve consistently invested in your own wellbeing. That dedication deserves real recognition. Thank you again for your generous 5-star feedback — it means a great deal. I wish you continued clarity, confidence, and success as you move forward. Remember, growth is a journey, and the insight you’ve gained this past year is a strong foundation for everything ahead. Keep believing in your progress — you are doing exceptionally well. Best wishes Dr Sarkhel

Dr Sarkhel is a truly wonderful doctor. Every time I saw him, I really felt that he understood that my illness required a multi-modal treatment plan. He was thorough in his reviews, always carefully considering how to take the fight to my depressive episode... it felt tailored and personal to my needs. It was thanks to this that I've since felt able to take a promotion and start a family. I have a great support network too, but it's through regular medication, rTMS, meditation and time that foundations were established. Without a doubt, if I was to relapse, it would be Dr Sarkhel and his team that I'd reach out to first. My advice to anyone in a similar boat: value your mental health as you would your physical, and find a doctor who does the same.

Thank you very much for sharing such a thoughtful and moving reflection on your journey. I am sincerely grateful for your kind words and for the trust you placed in me and the wider Living Mind team during a very challenging period of your life. Mental health conditions, much like physical illnesses, often require a multi-modal and carefully tailored approach. Treatment is rarely one-dimensional, and meaningful progress usually comes from combining medical, psychological, neurostimulation, and self-regulatory strategies over time. I am pleased to hear that this integrated approach — including medication, rTMS, mindfulness practices, and ongoing review — helped establish the foundations that allowed you to move forward with confidence, both personally and professionally. Your reflection on valuing mental health in the same way we value physical health is particularly important. Open conversations such as yours help reduce fear and stigma, and encourage others to seek help early and without judgement. That in itself is a powerful contribution. It is deeply rewarding to know that the care you received supported you in reaching significant life milestones, and I am glad you continue to have a strong support network around you. With my very best wishes for your continued wellbeing, resilience, and recovery. Kind regards Dr Sarkhel
