Dr Michael Picton

Dr Picton qualified from the University of Manchester in 1990. Registrar in Renal Medicine at Manchester Royal Infirmary, Royal Preston Hospital and Salford Royal Hospital. His PhD Thesis was awarded to him in 2000.He was appointed as Consultant Nephrologist at Manchester Royal Infirmary in 2002, and has been Clinical Director in Renal Medicine from 2009 to date.

Dr Picton is a contributor to British Transplantation Society Guidelines for Living Donor Kidney Transplantation and Antibody Incompatible Kidney Transplantation.
