Dr Chris was outstanding, he has a vert calm demenor, his eexplanations were both clear and concise. Whilst in the operating room, concious and watching on a big screen someone fixing your heart, it was reassuring to see how calm he was ! Could not fault anything, the consultations, treatment and aftercare were superb.

Dr Skene saw me at short notice to discuss a new and unexpected diagnosis of atrial fibrillation. He listened carefully to my concerns and looked over recent test results before discussing possible options. Dr Skene was patient, calm and approachable. He explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions and came up with a plan of action. He didn't rush anything and I felt confident in his diagnosis and treatment plan. I found him to be very personable with a nice dry sense of humour, which always helps! HIs written report followed the consultation within a few days and it not only set out what we had discussed, but also included a helpful glossary of terms. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Skene to anyone with cardiology issues. He is clearly a very competent and experienced specialist in his field and I feel reassured that he has provided me with the best treatment options for now. Should things progress, I know that he will be the person to offer the best solution.

I felt very comfortable with Dr Skene, he has a very nice bedside manner. He took his time discussing my symptoms and concerns, explaining clearly how best to proceed, I did not feel rushed in the appointment. He has also arranged further investigations/appointments for me with speed which is much appreciated.
