I saw Dr Sarma during a private consultation regarding recurring angina pain after recovering from a triple heart bypass. I had many questions to ask Dr sarma, which he did professionally and in a simplistic form. This put my mind at ease that I could trust and rely on him to obtain the best possible treatment to resolve my problem to the best of his extensive professional ability.

I have greatly valued Dr Sarma's care and attention. He is thorough and approachable. An excellent and experienced senior clinician. I would highly recommend him.

I have had cardiological conditions for a number of years and Doctor Sarma was recently recommended to me by his Consultant colleague at the BMI Alexandra Hospital. At my first appointment with Doctor Sarma at the BMI Alexandra Hospital, Doctor Sarma put me at ease straightaway, reviewing my complex medical history, and recent blood test results, talking through my concerns and issues in a personalised way including with regard to other conditions which, having a complex medical history , was very much appreciated. Doctor Sarma ensured that his Review and recommendations were communicated promptly to my GP for follow up as necessary. I am due to see Doctor Sarma for a follow up appointment shortly with further tests which have been arranged promptly and very helpfully by Doctor Sarma’s excellent Secretary. I am very glad that I was referred to Doctor Sarma and very much appreciate that my cardiological conditions are continuing to be kept under review and treated under his excellent care.

Dr Sarma completed a lengthy and complex procedure on me but at all times I had absolute confidence in him as he proceeded. He was extremely calm and very professional throughout. I have had numerous consultations with him since then. These have been informative and helpful. Perhaps most importantly he has been key in helping me begin to regain my confidence following my heart problems.

I recently visited Dr Sarma after having some worrying arrhythmia, and I am so glad that I did. Dr Sarma was great. I found him to be very approachable and easy to talk to. He is very calm, patient and listens to your concerns. He explained the situation and procedures very clearly but overall he was very thorough and reassuring. Following investigations, I was left feeling that I couldn’t have been in better hands and I would thoroughly recommend Dr Sarma to anyone.

Dr Sarma has been excellent whilst I have been under his care for severe Myocarditis. He is professional, polite, informative, knowledgeable and very helpful. He understands the needs of the patient and the worry this type of illness can cause and ensured I was made to feel at ease throughout and made sure that any associated factors were also dealt with. I cannot recommend him highly enough and wish to thank him for his care and assistance.

Dr Sarma saw my mother in law at short notice when it looked like her back operation the next day might be cancelled after an issue with the ECG. He was brilliant! His secretary Rebecca moved heaven and earth across two evenings to get us and the hospital the right information, and Dr Sarma reassured my mother in law, ran tests and then liaised with the anaesthetist all within the space of hours, enabling the op to happen. He was just fantastic. He is so caring and a wonderful credit to the medical profession.

I went to see Dr Sarma after developing chest pains whilst exercising. This ultimately resulted in me having a stent fitted in January 2021. Throughout the process, the care I received from Dr Sarma was excellent. He was very clear in his explanation of what my issues were, and the possible responses to those issues. He also responded very quickly to any questions I raised.

I had a heart attack in the summer of 2021 while i was in Vietnam. I survived this but required an emergency stent to get the blood flowing to my heart. I was advised that this would only temporarily solve the problem - and therefore when I returned to the UK I needed to seek help. i was introduced to Dr Sarma. I was very reassured by the expert guidance he gave me - as I went through the process of discovering what I needed to get done next. I can not recommend him highly enough. He dealt with me in an independent and professional way - and I'm very grateful for his advice and support - which ultimately saved my life.
