Dr Lang is a consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist specialising in the management of heart rhythm disturbances and blackouts/fainting. He is highly experienced on cardiac electrophysiology procedures including radio frequency ablation, cryo ablation, pacemaker, CRT and defibrillator implantation.

Qualifications
I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1994 and trained in Cardiology in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Milan. I was first appointed a consultant caardiologist and electrophysiologist at the North West Heart Centre in Greater Manchester in 2006 and returned to Edinburgh as a consultant in 2009.
I specialise in the management of heart rhythm disorders (both fast and slow) and am very experienced in the implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac resynchronisation therapy pacemakers (CRTP) and defibrillators (CRTD). I have a particular interest in the management of atrial fibrillation and caatheter ablation for AFib and other heart rhythm disorders.
