Miss Iryna Roshko

Miss Iryna Roshko completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the South West of England and was appointed as an NHS Consultant at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust in 2016. She sees private patients at Nuffield Health Exeter on Wednesdays.

Miss Roshko has a broad range of interests within general gynaecology, with particular expertise in the management of heavy, irregular or infrequent periods, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), postmenopausal bleeding, prolapse, and vulval and vaginal conditions. 

She is experienced in hysteroscopy, laparoscopic and vaginal surgery, including the treatment of ovarian cysts, female sterilisation, tubal surgery and pelvic floor repair. She offers a one-stop clinic service with immediate access to transvaginal ultrasound and can often provide a full assessment and initial treatment plan in a single visit. If necessary, this may include a detailed consultation, pelvic examination, ultrasound, cervical smear, vaginal swabs and blood tests.

Miss Roshko recommends regular gynaecological check-ups as an important part of maintaining vaginal and reproductive health. She can also provide advice on fertility concerns, although fertility investigations and treatments are not available at Nuffield Health Exeter.
