Mr Ihab Wissa is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist who provides comprehensive care in all aspects of gynaecology, with particular expertise in minimal access (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic) surgery, fertility disorders, and menstrual problems. Mr Wissa graduated in Egypt in 1987, where he completed his basic training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. In 1995, he moved to the United Kingdom to undertake further specialist training across leading institutions, including Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, Princess Royal University Hospital, Queen Mary’s Hospital, and Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He successfully completed the UK training programme, gaining the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), and was appointed as a Consultant in 2005.
Throughout his career, Mr Wissa has developed an outstanding reputation for his surgical skills and clinical expertise. He holds advanced certificates in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery from the Royal College in London, reflecting his long-standing interest in minimal access techniques. His practice covers a wide range of conditions, including menstrual irregularities, fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, pelvic pain, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), infertility, and early pregnancy complications. He also offers diagnostic and screening services for cervical abnormalities, providing colposcopy and management of abnormal smear results, as well as screening for pre-cancerous conditions and offering HPV vaccination.
