Dr Ian Gee

I am a full time Gastroenterologist who has been living and working in Worcestershire since 2005. My practice covers the full range of gastroenterological conditions including Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), coeliac disease, and dyspepsia. I also see patients with hepatology (liver) problems. I offer most endoscopic procedures including Upper GI endoscopy (OGD), colonoscopy and ERCP together with their associated therapeutic procedures (biopsy, polypectomy, dilatation, banding of varices, sphincterotomy, removal of gall stones from the bile duct etc.) All of my endoscopy audit data falls within nationally recognised standards including a colonoscopy prospecitve caecal intubation rate of 95%.
I also chair the Gastroenterology Specialist Advisory Committee which oversees training nationally for Specialist Registrars. I am the clinical lead for Gastroenterology in Worcestershire and the endoscopy training lead.
