Dr Giuseppina Lamanna

Dr Lamanna is a Consultant Gynaecologist and IVF Specialist. She graduated from the University of Sacro Cuore in Rome, Italy and undertook specialist postgraduate medical training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology there before moving to London to complete subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine in Hammersmith IVF unit. She has been an established consultant at London Women's Clinic since 2010.

Dr Lamanna has written a number of academic papers on infertility including polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometrial receptivity and embryo implantation. She has a particular interest in innovative approaches and has recently introduced the new AneVivo technique to the UK. This novel approach allows fertilization and early embryo development to take place in the womb rather than in the laboratory as in conventional IVF.
