Dr Ge Zhang

Dr Ge Eko Zhang is a well-respected Consultant Obstetrician with HCA Healthcare at The Portland Hospital.  Her NHS base is at St Mary's hospital, and Centre for fetal care, Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea hospital,  Imperial College Healthcare Trust. She is highly experienced and offers a tailored approach to pregnancy and its complications. She welcomes patients for antenatal care, management of complications and birthing options, and as a subspecialist in Fetal and Maternal Medicine, she is skilled in performing invasive testing procedures such as Chorionic Villus Sampling and Amniocentesis. She is caring and compassionate, with her clients interests at best heart.

After qualifying from Shanghai medical College, FuDan University, she completed an extensive training scheme at Kings College hospital London and Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea hospital.  Eko is RCOG accredited subspecialist in Matenal and fetal medcine.   In 2001, she was awarded a PhD from the University of Cambridge in recognition of her pioneering research achievements into Angiogenesis in human placentation. She is a Follow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists(FRCOG)  Throughout her career she has made an enviable reputation within her field, has been heavily published and regularly reviews manuscripts submitted to the RCOG Journal of Obstetrics & Gynaecology‏.
