Dr David Jackson

Dr David Jackson is a consultant medical oncologist specialising in the treatment of individuals with breast cancer and gynaecological cancers. They provide treatment for individuals at all stages of their disease, for newly diagnosed patients, as well as for those with recurrent or metastatic disease.

Their treatments include chemotherapy, hormone therapies, as well as new biological and molecular targeted treatments. Increasingly, molecular and genetic tests on blood and tumour samples are able to guide the choice of treatment for each individual, and Dr Jackson is able to provide these tests.

Dr Jackson works within the gynaecology and breast cancer multi-disciplinary teams, working with teams of specialist surgeons, pathologists, radiologists and nurses. They are active in clinical research, and are involved in a number of current clinical trials of treatments for breast cancer and gynaecological cancers.
