The team at Genesis in Oxford are incredibly welcoming. Having 30 sessions of radiotherapy, they made it so much easier to want to come. They recognise your face after a few days and greet you by name. I genuinely could not have wanted for a better experience.

We were referred to Dr Baijal to be treated with a new cancer drug. We were told he is only a handful of cancer doctors capable of giving the treatment in the country. 
He has lived up to his reputation. 
He was very thorough with us and explained things clearly. He made sure the treatment was started as safely as possible.  He even came to visit us on the ward at 10pm on the day of treatment to make sure everything was okay.
It is clear he is very caring and goes above and beyond for his patients.  Hands down the best cancer doctor we have been under.

Oligometastic Disease

This is my own personal experience:- 

From being warmly greeted by the receptionist I went to radiotherapy for my mask fitting on my first visit. This was quite daunting but I was constantly reassured by the wonderful team. There was kindly efficient Nash and the wonderful Lorenzo who went out of his way to  take time to allay my fears and answer all my many questions. This was followed by what felt like a lengthy MRI Scan. 
I was down for 5 treatments and each time Lorenzo gave me his time to make sure I was ready and felt comfortable. He spoke throughout the treatment to tell me how well it was going … and how well I was doing … and how much time was left. This was so very helpful when wearing a tightly fitted mask and the head is fixed to the table. I could listen to my choice of music which also helped. I honestly felt Lorenzo and his wonderful assistant were very kind, patient and compassionate. 
I’d also like to add that the Complementary treatments of mindfulness, acupuncture and reflexology given by Katie, Kya and Elizabeth were so very helpful in helping me relax and fixing a sore neck (thanks so much to lovely Kya)
A worrying experience made so much more bearable by the exceptional team at Genesis. My heartfelt thanks.
