Dr David Beckett is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist. He specialises in treating venous disease using minimally invasive techniques including pelvic congestion syndrome and varicose veins.
Dr Beckett completed his MBBS at St George's University and graduated in the year 2000. After completing his foundation training he went on to speciality training in Radiology at hospitals in the Birmingham and Sheffield areas. Dr Beckett then supplemented his specialist training as an Endovascular Fellow in Sheffield before taking up his role of Consultant Interventional Radiologist in 2008 at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
In 2010 Dr Beckett joined the team at The Whiteley Clinic. Since then he has been using the Whiteley Protocol® to manage all aspects of venous disease in his patients including minimally invasive procedures under local anaesthetic and advisory consultations.
As well as his commitment to treating patients Dr Beckett has contributed extensively to the further research and development of vascular disease treatments and is keenly involved in the training of doctors, particularly regarding pelvic congestion syndrome. In his spare time he is a keen kite-surfer and loves to travel.

Dr David Beckett and I trained in Interventional Radiology together in Birmingham. We are now colleagues at The Whiteley Clinic in London. His expertise in the minimally invasive treatment of venous conditions is vast and David has been my principal trainer in Pelvic Vein Embolisation (PVE), a procedure in which he is a world leading expert.
